As a Senior Program Manager, you will be in charge of the following responsibilities :
* Take end-to-end ownership of transformation initiatives and projects, managing cross-functional and cross-departmental teams with complex dependencies.
* Organize and report regularly to project SteerCos, ensuring clear communication and alignment at leadership level.
* Drive successful project delivery by managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality, and by actively mitigating risks and addressing issues.
* Analyze high-level business requirements to identify improvement opportunities and develop strategies that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
* Develop and maintain target solution designs, business cases, and roadmaps to ensure project outcomes meet business needs and quality expectations.
* Define, align, and document project scope clearly and consistently.
* Own and manage project planning, ensuring timely achievement of key objectives and milestones.
* Track and report on project budgets, risks, and opportunities, providing well-reasoned solutions and mitigation strategies.
* Lead, coach, and support cross-functional project teams.
* Ensure all business and technical requirements are agreed upon, and aligned with the IT department.
* Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders, securing buy-in and supporting change management across all levels of the organization.
* Apply standardized project methodologies, templates, and tools, and deliver project status reports in line with governance processes.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory, governance, and internal control requirements.
* Actively contribute to the success of the Transformation Office & Project Management Office.
* Report directly to the Head of the Transformation Office & PMO.
The ideal Senior Program Manager for our client would have the following skills / experiences :
Technical Skills:
* Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
* At least 6 to 8 years of experience in applying project management methodologies and tools.
* Strong change management skills.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office (MS Projects, PowerPoint and Excel).
* Experience within insurance and financial services is an asset.
Soft Skills:
* Social, motivated and highly customer and solution-oriented.
* A team player with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
* Highly experienced in strategy and leading business transformation/projects.
* Able to work independently with an agile way of working.
