Fujitsu is looking for a Field Support Engineer to support a major EU Institution, ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of its videoconferencing platform (Pexip).
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
* Operate, monitor, and support the videoconferencing platform (Pexip), including network and system configurations
* Master and control technical parameters of the videoconferencing environment
* Interact at a technical level with server, network, and application teams
* Provide hands-on technical operation and real-time support for videoconferences in direct contact with end users
* Produce reports on conference quality and operational performance
* Deliver consolidated reports on service quality and videoconferencing service centre operations
Documentation & Technical Reporting
* Maintain and update documentation related to procedures, platform parameters, and operational changes
* Produce technical reports including service metrics such as:
* Number of conferences supported
* Incidents and issues
* Improvement recommendations
Additional Responsibilities
* Provide technical support outside normal working hours or days when required
Required Skills & Experience
* Certified knowledge of videoconferencing technologies (Pexip certification or equivalent highly appreciated)
* Strong understanding of industry norms, standards, and best practices
* Proven experience with:
* Architecture and technology selection
* Installation, configuration, testing, and operations
* Ability to communicate effectively with end users in French and English
* Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, responsible, and reliable working attitude
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to workload fluctuations
* Strong team player
