Job Title:
You will oversee procurement activities for indirect goods and services, including contractor and technical services, IT services, maintenance jobs, and waste management.
1. Manage expenses related to assigned items and services in line with the procurement strategy. You will also provide support to other departments within the organization for their main contracts within designated categories.
2. Act as the Lead Buyer and primary contact for other departments, responsible for making purchases according to their needs while ensuring quality execution and cost efficiency.
3. Procure essential indirect goods or services on the best possible terms by preparing surveys, selecting suppliers, negotiating purchases, drafting contracts, and managing relationships with them.
4. Handle claims in cooperation with internal customers, communicating and processing them in accordance with company policy, handling commercial negotiations, and closing claims if necessary.
5. Foster relationships with suppliers and identify opportunities to improve the cost efficiency of procurement processes and existing contracts.
6. Coordinate between suppliers and internal customers to avoid misunderstandings that could impact results or prices.
7. Organize and monitor purchasing processes to ensure an efficient service.
8. Stay up-to-date with market developments in the field of purchasing.
9. Improve supplier performance through annual reviews, evaluate their behavior, and select compliant suppliers. Coordinate communication and agreements regarding Turn Arounds (TAR) with contractors to prevent issues.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and ISO guidelines.
