What You’ll Do:
As a Compliance Manager, your expertise will guide the regulatory compliance framework, ensuring business success aligned with industry standards. Your responsibilities include:
Staying up-to-date on evolving compliance regulations and creating tailor-made, business-focused solutions.
Advising teams and leadership on robust systems and controls to meet regulatory obligations.
Training employees to raise awareness on compliance, best practices, and changes within the regulatory landscape.
Driving implementation of compliance policies, risk frameworks, and monitoring systems.
Collaborating across teams to review contracts, evaluate risk metrics, and manage supplier due diligence.
Offering advanced compliance advice on customer-facing communications and promotional campaigns.
Preparing reports for leadership, insurers, and regulators.
Is This You?
We’re looking for professionals with a passion for problem-solving and a deep understanding of compliance in insurance or financial services. Here’s the background we’re seeking:
* Education & Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (preferred), additional compliance/insurance certifications are a plus.
* Experience: Min. 5 years in a technical compliance role, ideally in insurance/financial services.
* Knowledge Base: Advanced understanding of IDD, FSMA, and NBB regulations, with strong commercial awareness.
* Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical acumen, and negotiation skills. Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business is a must.
* Languages: Fluent English + French or Dutch (bonus points for additional European languages).
