We’re looking for aHead of Operational HSEwho iscommitted, strategic, and inspiringto join our team, based in ourBraine-l’Alleud campus in Belgium.
About the role
You’ll be at the forefront of operational safety across our Belgian sites. You’ll lead HSE initiatives, drive improvement plans, coordinate HSE managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver practical solutions tailored to operational needs.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll collaborate with SPOC (Single Point of Contact) HSE and HSE contacts. You’ll also support the Head of HSE and act as a strategic backup when needed.
What you’ll do
* You lead and coach the SPOC HSE team
* You translate HSE standards into actionable operational solutions
* You drive the Safety Improvement Plan and ISO 45001 integration
* You manage relationships with unions and prevention committees
* You design and deliver targeted HSE training
* You oversee departmental budgeting (OPEX/CAPEX)
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills
* Master’s degree,certified Safety Advisor Level 1 or level 2 with relevant experience
* Proven leadership and ability to inspire and engage
* Previous experience as manager is mandatory
* Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in industrial settings
* Strong knowledge of Belgian safety regulations and HSE systems
* Analytical mindset, client-oriented and solution-driven
* Excellent communication skills in French and English
