We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our client's team and take ownership of end-to-end product design across complex, data-rich enterprise environments. This is an exciting opportunity to shape user experiences that power critical internal platforms, while working closely with stakeholders, engineers, and fellow designers to drive clarity, efficiency, and consistency at scale.
The Role
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll operate across the full product lifecycle — from early problem framing and discovery to interaction design, UI execution, validation, and iteration. You'll play a key role in aligning user needs with business objectives and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple applications supported by a shared design system.
Responsibilities
Discovery & Problem Framing
Structure business and user needs into clear problem statements
Contribute to early-stage discovery, requirements definition, and decision rationale
Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders and spark innovation
Interaction & UI Design
Design efficient, safe, and scalable workflows for complex internal tools
Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes
Craft clear, structured interfaces for data-dense environments (dashboards, tables, filters, bulk actions)
Ensure accessibility fundamentals and strong visual hierarchy
Design Systems & Governance
Work within and extend a shared design system (web and/or mobile)
Create and maintain scalable component libraries
Uphold UX governance standards to ensure consistency across teams and products
Validation & Delivery
Plan, conduct, and analyse user testing sessions
Collaborate closely with engineers in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
Support smooth handovers and iterate during build phases
The Ideal Candidate
5+ years of end-to-end UX/UI product design experience (from discovery to validation)
Strong portfolio with at least two recent case studies clearly outlining your role, approach, and impact
3+ years of advanced hands-on experience in Figma (Auto Layout, variants, scalable component libraries, developer-ready delivery)
Proven experience building, scaling, or governing internal design systems
At least 2 years designing complex enterprise/internal platforms with data-heavy interfaces
Demonstrated ability to standardise patterns, components, and tokens across multiple teams or products
Experience facilitating workshops and aligning cross-functional stakeholders
Native Dutch and/or French, with professional English proficiency
Availability for 2 onsite days per week in Brussels (with occasional travel within Belgium for user research)
