Life Insurance Business Analyst Position
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Life Insurance Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Business Change & Monitoring department, you will be responsible for supporting the portfolio migration project or commercial developments projects.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of 10 people specialized in individual and collective life insurance, consisting of 3 types of functions: Actuaries, Business Analysts, and testers. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record in similar roles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze product and process differences between source system and target in the context of life insurance policies migration.
2. Define associated requirements and formalize them according to defined quality standards.
3. Identify process impacts of the migration of individual life insurance policies.
4. Ensure understanding between business and IT teams.
Testing:
Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
Monitoring
Act as an intermediary between business and IT teams. Provide regular reporting on the progress of your activities.
Requirements:
* Knowledge in 'classique' products.
* Knowledge in life insurance migrations.
* Proven successful experience as a Business Analyst.
* Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines. A 'can-do' attitude and flexibility.
* Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
Preferred Qualifications:
* University degree in mathematics (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
* Familiar with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology.
Language Skills:
* Proficient in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Personal Qualities:
* Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
* Strong adaptability and learning ability.
* Detail-oriented while capable of finding the effective level of abstraction based on context.
* Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
