About the job
As a senior Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that works on the development and maintenance of the backend components of multiple services related to the platform. This includes new products and features, ensuring scalability, and upholding the highest security standards for API services and backend processes.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, practical architectures.
* Improve existing core backend services written in NodeJS.
* Implement new solutions that interact with different core services through RPC calls.
* Write complex database queries for compliance and financial purposes.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience working with Javascript/Nodejs.
* Familiar with microservices architecture.
* Actively participated in the development of a complex platform.
* Good experience interacting with databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
* Good understanding of security practices.
Preferred skills
* Experience with blockchain integration.
* Comfortable with high‑availability concepts.
* Ruby and Rails experience.
* Message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
