The company is one of the largest in the sector and is constantly expanding. You will join a large, fast-growing retail chain that has locations all over the world. The company has an open and no-nonsense environment, with no complicated hierarchy or formal interactions. Your new role - You ensure a smooth flow of orders in the distribution center. - You supervise approximately 30 workers and several administrative staff. - You create the daily work schedule. - You make sure that outgoing pallets are correctly sorted and safely stacked. - You lead your team and motivate your employees to work correctly, quickly, and efficiently. - You recruit staff, organize internal training, and welcome new employees. - You continuously look for improvements in your team's work processes. - You keep the stock report up to date and check the registration time of your team members. - You act with a cost-conscious mindset, continuously strive for efficient and budget-friendly solutions, and serve as a role model in Your profile - You have at least a higher secondary education diploma. - You have (preferably) already worked in a similar distribution role. - You have experience of leading teams, communicating well, and coaching enthusiastically. - You are well-versed in Excel (knowledge of Saga is a plus). - You are in good physical condition and willing to lend a hand wherever necessary. - You are a strong organizer with a strong sense of responsibility. - You can handle stress well and perform in any environment. - You speak excellent Dutch. French is an advantage. - You are willing to work one Saturday per month.
