Logistics Support Specialist Robotics

To support our continued growth, market expansion, and customer service excellence, we are looking for a Logistics Support Specialist to join our Robotics Supply Chain Team at our headquarters in Wavre, Belgium.
Let’s talk about your role
In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities related to the supply chain and logistics of robotics components and accessories :
Transportation:
* Manage relationships with freight forwarders and carriers;
* Monitor logistics needs and negotiate appropriate transport solutions (air, sea, road), including batteries products with batteries;
* Supervise transport documentation handled by external partners;
* Ensure compliance with transport labelling requirements.
Orders management for non-European suppliers:
* Manage orders with non-European suppliers;
* Create Purchase Orders, register Order Acknowledgements and follow up until warehouse receipt.
Compliance:
* Coordinate with suppliers to obtain all required compliance certificates (TSCA, RoHS/REACH, EPR, EMRT, EU CRM, packaging & environmental laws…);
* Consolidate component-level certificates into product-level declarations;
* Ensure availability of compliance documentation in cooperation with Quality.
Customs requirements:
* Determine and maintain HS codes in the ERP system;
* Validate applicable import duties and taxes;
* Complete Section 232 documentation for US exports.
Miscellaneous:
* Back-up of colleagues of the Supply Chain Team whenever needed;
* Participation in continuous improvement of processes;
Your profile
* You have a perfect command of French & English (daily phone conversations with suppliers);
* Solid knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes;
* Proficiency with ERP system & MS Office;
* Knowledge of transport and customs legislation & documents;
* Basic technical knowledge (to select the right HS code);
* Ideally certified to manage transport of dangerous goods (batteries) or willing to obtain the certification ;
* You have 3-4 years of experience in a similar role;
* You are assertive, diplomatic, flexible, rigorous & customer-oriented;
* You plan & organize your work and priorities appropriately;
* You are dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic;
* You are able to communicate easily with a variety of people both orally and in writing;
* Eager to learn & grow in a rapidly changing organization.
Geographical scope
We encourage and support flexibility by enabling our employees to work from home for 2 days a week.
Easy reachable by car and public transportation, our office is located in Wavre, 25km south of Brussels.
