We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Spring, React) fluent in English, based in Brussels, Belgium. The role involves working either at the company’s premises or on-site at customer locations. Initially, the successful candidate will join the Development team and collaborate closely with a major client’s IT team on-site.
Your tasks
1. Gather requirements, assess feasibility, and propose secure solutions;
2. Select secure technology stacks to meet project needs;
3. Develop secure backend and frontend components;
4. Deliver high-quality, secure products with thorough testing;
5. Support on-site deployment and documentation;
6. Implement applications with high IT security standards, including secure web services.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in IT or relevant field, with at least 17 years of IT experience;
* Minimum 15 years of experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Security;
* At least 15 years working with RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL;
* 15 years with JUnit and 3 years with Selenium;
* 8 years of experience with React;
* 5 years developing high-security applications (MFA, SSO, JWT, OAuth);
* 3 years experience with AWS/Azure;
* 3 years working with PostGIS, Node.js, and Next.js;
* Proficiency in Java and Python;
* Good knowledge of Apache POI, Git/GitLab, Gradle/Maven;
* Knowledge of C#, .NET, Angular (v2+), ECMAScript/TypeScript;
* Strong understanding of Web Application Security Standards (OWASP);
* Knowledge of AI fundamentals is a plus;
* Mandatory certifications: Oracle Certified Java Programmer or SCJP;
* Excellent command of English.
