Information Security Consultant – Brussels (Belgium) – Freelance 12 months+
For an energy client located in Brussels, I am looking for a freelance Information Security Consultant for a long-term position.
This is a hybrid role offering 3-4 days working from home per week.
Role:
Provide expert security guidance to testing teams to strengthen security coverage within functional test cases.
Plan, organise, and deliver security awareness and training sessions for relevant teams.
Contribute security expertise to architecture design activities and reviews.
Collaborate with the Application Security Centre, supporting the coordination of activities related to compliance and risk management across all involved parties.
Key Competencies & Skills:
Information Security: Proven experience in implementing and maintaining Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), with a strong understanding of standards such as ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27002.
Risk & Governance: Strong background in security governance, risk assessment, and project coordination, with proven ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks.
You are fluent in English.
