Responsibilities
:
1. Design, develop and test firmware for our UWB, BLE, Matter, Thread and Zigbee silicon.
2. Debug and resolve firmware issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
3. Collaborate with design and customer facing teams to define firmware architecture and requirements.
4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to high code quality.
5. Document firmware design and development processes.
6. Use version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
7. Track and manage project tasks and issues using JIRA.
8. Participate actively in agile scrum practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
9. You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
10. Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems development, with preferred experience working with wireless communication standards such as BLE, UWB, and 802.15.4.
11. Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages, with experience in embedded software development for constrained devices.
12. Experience with coding standards like MISRA-C
13. Familiarity with ARM architecture and it’s development and debugging tools.
14. Proficiency with embedded systems, digital, use of lab equipment such as RF spectrum analyzers, MAC protocol software analyzers
15. Expertise in daily developer tools like, Git, Jira, Merge requests, VSCode, …
16. Experience with real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, …) used in an embedded context.
17. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-team to accomplish the tasks.
