Role Purpose
The Senior Finance Manager provides strategic and operational leadership of the Finance function, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and strategy. This role oversees all aspects of financial management (Accounting & Controlling, Treasury, and Tax) at group level, supporting the CFO and acting as a key advisor to the management team.
The position is responsible for optimizing reporting structures, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with global and local reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the Finance function’s strategy, objectives, and resource planning in alignment with the CFO.
Manage the functional budget, commitments, liabilities, and financial risks.
Design and implement finance policies, processes, and procedures across the group, ensuring compliance with internal management systems, legal requirements, and external standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IATF, VDA).
Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Finance function.
Oversee internal control processes and ensure compliance (KPIs, PDCA cycles).
Manage service agreements with third-party providers, including shareholder-related services.
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of finance professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery and business support.
Translate legal requirements and industry best practices into practical financial solutions, including risk analysis, audits, and corrective actions.
Prepare and manage budgets, workforce planning, P&L monitoring, cash flow planning, tax declarations, Board reporting, performance analysis, and forecasting.
Improve the accuracy, transparency, and relevance of financial information in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory financial reporting requirements.
Plan and coordinate internal and external audits and maintain an effective risk management framework.
Act as a trusted financial advisor to the management team on all financial matters.
Required Profile
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in international financial management roles.
Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and people leadership.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects in complex environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Broad expertise in accounting, controlling, tax, and treasury.
