About the role
We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and forward-thinking Global Business Controller & Strategic Accounts professional to join our team, with a primary focus on driving value within our Strategic Accounts. In this role, you will playa key part in driving profitability by conducting comprehensive EBIT analyses and evaluating the full financial performance of our most critical accounts across the globe. You will also identify trends and develop actionable insights through the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), helping to inform high-impact strategic decisions. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and directly influence the growth and success of our top-tier clients.
Responsibilities
1.
Partner with Strategic Account Managers (SAM) and their teams to deliver financial insights and recommendations that support strategic goals
2. Actively contribute to drive Global SAM short- to long-term business direction, performance guidance as well as support/challenge internal stakeholders for right decision-making to drive AAK shareholder value creation
3. Be a business partner for the SAMs and the SAM lead, together with strengthening the linking-up with the regional teams to anchor SAM decision-making
4. Conduct detailed EBIT analysis to assess and optimize the full profitability of strategic accounts
5. Analyze trends in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, margin performance, and cost efficiency to identify opportunities and risks
6. Collaborate with regional finance teams to gather, compile, and validate data, ensuring accuracy and relevance for analysis and reporting
7. Prepare and present clear, actionable financial reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends and recommendations
8. Support the preparation of financial inputs for tenders and ensure consistency in formats across submissions
About you
9.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role ideally with production knowledge
10. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
11. Strong expertise in Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, and reporting tools
12. Experience working within finance, with familiarity systems such as SAP and Tableau
13. Proven ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
14. Skilled in business analytics, financial analysis, budget management, and business statistics
15. Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to align financial insights with strategic objectives
16. Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across AAK sites
17. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
18. Available to travel globally, spread over approximately 30-40 days per year
