Data Analyst (Contract)
Location: Antwerp or Amsterdam
Experience: Early-career with strong SQL foundation and exposure to data science workflows
This is a freelance or temporary (CDD) contract position for 6 months
Own marketing analytics execution and help drive data-informed decision making.
This isn't a lateral move. We built Loop by going all in from day one. You’ll work at the core of our marketing analytics engine - turning business questions into structured datasets, clean analyses, and scalable reporting. All yours. If you've mastered the fundamentals of data analysis and you're ready to break the rules that no longer work, this is where you do it.
The role
You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down. As a Data Analyst, you strengthen our execution capacity by delivering reliable analyses and supporting both reporting and experimentation workflows.
What you’ll do (and what you won’t)
* You own analytical execution end-to-end - from SQL to dashboards
* You translate business questions into structured, usable data outputs
* You support and extend existing data models (DBT, Snowflake)
* You build dashboards and reporting layers using predefined KPI logic
* You prepare experiment datasets and run first-level statistical analyses
* You collaborate closely with P3 Analysts, Data Scientists, and business teams
* You improve data quality, clarity, and usability across marketing use cases
You won’t
* wait for endless approvals
* hide behind processes
* cruise quietly in the background
How you’ll succeed
We look for people who think big, stay curious, and aren’t afraid to go all in to make things happen. You’ll succeed by delivering high-quality analyses with low rework, moving reliably on execution, and enabling more senior team members to focus on higher-impact work.
What you’ll bring
* You bring at least 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
* Strong, hands‑on SQL skills (non‑negotiable)
* Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and basic modeling support
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. ThoughtSpot, Power BI or similar)
* Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g. Snowflake, DBT or similar) is a plus
* You work independently and know when to involve others
* You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity
* You know when work is ready to ship, and when it can evolve
* You want your work to matter, not just exist
Loop isn’t for everyone. We might not be a match if you:
* Wait for direction instead of taking initiative
* Mistake activity for impact
* Feel uneasy when things are still taking shape
* Prefer alignment meetings over decisions
Still listening?
Good. We are not looking for people to watch from the sidelines. Loopers step in, speak up and go for more. More firsts. More growth. More: “I can’t believe we did that.” If you are like that too, press that beautiful apply button and let’s talk.
