With approximately €140M revenue, two production sites (Belgium & Italy), and a commercial footprint across Europe and the US, Exolon is entering its next growth phase.
The opportunity
As CFO, you are a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. You lead Finance and IT across all entities and play a pivotal role in driving performance, governance, and value creation across the Group.
This is a high‑impact, hands‑on leadership role for a finance leader who enjoys operating close to business - linking financial performance to operational reality and enabling faster, better decisions through data and technology.
What you will own
Financial leadership & performance management
- Own Group financial performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and turn financial as well as operational data into forward‑looking insights
- Drive a performance culture by linking results to operational KPIs (e.g., yield, efficiency, margins) and upgrading reporting/dashboards
- Partner with Operations, Commercial and the leadership team to enable faster, better decisions
- Strengthen governance, internal controls, and compliance in an international multi‑entity setup (incl. cross‑border topics and legal oversight)
- Act as the key interface with auditors, banks, advisors and shareholders; promote accountability and transparency
Finance operations & transformation
- Lead Accounting, Controlling, Tax and Treasury across countries and build a high‑performing team with strong data discipline
- Standardize and simplify finance processes; drive continuous improvement and scalability of the finance operating model
Cash, capital & value creation
- Own liquidity, financing strategy and cash/working capital performance in close collaboration with Operations and Sales
- Provide rigorous analysis for investments, budgeting and long‑term planning; lead value creation initiatives
- Lead the IT strategy through the IT Manager and deliver the ERP selection & implementation with external partners
- Strengthen data architecture, analytics and pragmatic AI adoption to improve decision‑making
What we are looking for
- 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in an industrial, international context
- Strong track record in performance management and business partnering
- Proven people leader with experience managing multi‑site teams and transformation
- Strong affinity with ERP systems, data and digital tools
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
- M&A experience is a plus
- Hands‑on, pragmatic and results‑driven leadership style
- Excellent communication skills across financial and non‑financial stakeholders
- High‑impact C‑level role with direct influence on strategy and performance
