Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the Sub-Advisor and Customised Solutions team, which is part of the Group Advisory and Managed Investments team (Wealth Solutions) within Standard Chartered Bank. The Group Advisory and Managed Investments team covers Funds, Alternative Investments and ETFs and owns the approval process for these products across the retail and private bank segments.Key Responsibilities Idea Generation & Due DiligenceWork closely with the bank's Fund Selection team to identify, select and monitor best-in-class third-party managers globally for SC Funds umbrella and Signature Securities Portfolios (SSP).Maximise the success of existing solutions, identify and grow new large-scale opportunities.Identify future commercial success ideas and work with key stakeholders to crystalise the ideas.Product Management & GovernanceDay-to-day portfolio monitoring of third-party single securities mandates and white label funds.Work in conjunction with our third-party managers to ensure client portfolios are in line with mandates/objectives.Performance attribution and monitoring.Close collaboration with our Middle/Back Office/Compliance business functions.Deep understanding of how operations link to front office and take ownership for linking these functions and ensuring the processes run smoothly.End-to-end ownership of the process from front office to back/middle office functions.Dealing with compliance and regulatory issues.Working with key stakeholders to design robust, efficient processes.Prepare materials for key governance meetings.Client Focus - Sales & Marketing SupportCommunicate effectively the merits of our market leading propositions to our internal stakeholders and front office.Manage and develop internal and externally approved marketing collaterals.Support client pitches and portfolio reviews as required, including profile and pitch book updates.Support and coordinate the sales and marketing effort across distribution segments for SC Funds launches.A strong commercial mindset, with a drive to grow the business, is key.Risk ManagementEmbed a risk culture that support the Bank's strategy and philosophy for the management of risk and may be called upon to define risk policy within scope of responsibility.Ensure that effective arrangements are in place within WS in the region for the prevention of money laundering in line with the Group Policy and Standards, respective country regulatory guidelines and local legal requirements. Ensure that the obligations on reporting suspicious activities are met.Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder's attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant Risk Committees.Regulatory & Business ConductDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. * Prior client facing experience in a private bank is required
* Knowledge of, and aptitude to deal with, operational complexities of managed investments structures
* Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin language is required
* Deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments
* Undergraduate degree, preferably with an Economics/Finance background
* CFA, CAIA and other similar qualifications preferred
