Engineering Delivery Manager
to lead engineering activities and drive technical management excellence.
Overview As an Engineering Delivery Manager, you will spearhead project delivery with a focus on engineering activities. Collaborate with engineering teams to establish goal-oriented processes and oversee the technical aspects of project management. You will be responsible for leading and building teams to achieve timely and budget-conscious delivery, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and embracing continuous improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities Focus on delivering engineering projects on time and within budget. Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects, integrating hardware, software, and system components. Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration among systems engineers, developers, and test engineers. Develop project management skills and improve project processes for seamless execution. Identify and mitigate technical risks and manage project schedules and deliverables. Work with stakeholders across resources, subcontractors, and international partners to reach project milestones. Ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Agile or V-model methodologies. Maintain clear stakeholder communication and reporting, while managing Program Engineering KPIs.
Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering. Minimum 5 years of project management or technical leadership experience in high-tech, aerospace, defense, or similar industries. Proficiency in systems engineering, product development, and integration/testing processes. Strong initiative, cost-consciousness, multi-stakeholder management skills in regulated environments. Excellent project management skills, with a proficiency in tools like MS Project, Jira, and Confluence. Enthusiastic, dynamic communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Fluent in French and English, with knowledge of German or Dutch as a plus.
