The Role As a Creative Director, you are responsible for defining and safeguarding the creative direction across projects, teams and clients, while ensuring alignment with strategic and business objectives.
In practice, this means:
Leading the creative vision and direction of branding projects, from strategy to execution
Translating strategic briefings into strong, original and future‑proof brand concepts
Coordinating and organising the activities within the Creative Team based on priorities, skills and business needs
Building, mentoring and growing a high-performing Creative Team in Antwerp
Guiding and supporting designers in concept development, execution and presentation
Ensuring consistency, quality and impact across all creative output
Presenting and defending creative concepts to clients in a clear and compelling way
Acting as a senior sparring partner for clients on branding, design and strategic challenges
Managing resources, planning and budget to deliver projects efficiently and at the highest standard
Monitoring team performance and continuously improving processes and output
Taking an active role in business development, sales conversations and client relationships
Representing SKINN externally through talks, events, social media and industry networks
What you’ll do You are a visionary creative with a strong conceptual mindset and a deep understanding of brand building
You combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach and a strong sense of ownership
You have experience leading and developing creative teams and know how to build a strong culture
You are commercially minded and understand how to grow client relationships and identify opportunities
You communicate clearly, confidently and convincingly, both internally and externally
You remain calm and structured in demanding environments with high expectations and tight deadlines
You think in solutions, set priorities and keep a clear overview across projects and teams
You are entrepreneurial, proactive and driven to make impact
You feel comfortable working with senior and international stakeholders
You have a strong affinity with branding, design and strategy, and understand how disciplines come together
What we’re after Extensive experience in branding and design, preferably within leading agencies
Proven track recordin a senior or leadership role combining creative direction and client responsibility
A strong and distinctive portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking and high‑quality execution
A backgroundin developing and leading complex brand identities and systems
Strong commercial and client management skills, with a clear sales mindset
A proven ability to balance business development and project leadership
Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Deep understanding of typography, visual systems and brand consistency
Experience working with digital brands and contemporary design contexts
Familiarity with AI tools within the creative and conceptual process
Fluent in Dutch, with professional proficiency in English and French
