General Information/Job Summary
To provide comprehensive cost control, reports and forecasts to project management and support the overall success of the project.
Responsibilities/Competencies
1. Develop and maintain project cost reports (both internal & client) on a weekly basis.
2. Develop and maintain multiple reports on weekly and monthly labor progress and performance reports (both internal and client), project cost tracking reports for indirect labor, rental equipment, and subcontracts.
3. Assist with development and maintenance of change management system including change orders, budget shifts, and trends including contingency management.
4. Timely and accurate forward-looking analysis and mitigation plan development to reduce or eliminate unforeseen cost impacts.
5. Actively participate in bi-weekly or monthly reviews of all cost controls deliverables with the project team.
6. Assist management in forecasting the project expected costs for monthly reporting purposes.
7. Develop and maintain budgets in progress tracking tool.
8. Assist with auditing payroll coding on a weekly basis.
9. Perform data audits to ensure accuracy of information.
10. Liaison with the procurement and billing departments
11. Conduct costs corrections.
12. Understand earned value management systems.
13. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
14. 2+ years of project controls, cost management, trend and change management, and/or project management experience with an EPC contractor or in the Oil and Gas Industry.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools.
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information.
17. Ability to work within a team as well as independently while prioritizing work and maintaining the highest quality.

18. Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk.
19. Ability to travel to job sites to perform job duties, including walking construction site for progress audits.
20. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
21. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
