Key Responsibilities
* Design, install, and configure
Windows and Linux servers
to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
* Execute
system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance
to sustain operational excellence and compliance.
* Administer and optimize
virtualization platforms
and
cloud environments
, ensuring scalability and uptime.
* Monitor system health,
analyze incidents
, and resolve performance or configuration issues promptly.
* Develop and maintain
automation scripts and deployment workflows
to streamline operations.
* Produce and maintain
comprehensive documentation
of configurations, procedures, and recovery plans.
* Collaborate with
network, security, and application teams
to align infrastructure with business and technical requirements.
* Evaluate
emerging technologies and best practices
to enhance efficiency, reliability, and resilience.
Skills
* Proven experience managing
Windows and Linux systems
in enterprise or hybrid environments.
* Strong understanding of
virtualization
(VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and
cloud infrastructure
(Azure, AWS, or similar).
* Solid grasp of
networking fundamentals
and
infrastructure security principles
.
* Proficiency in
scripting and automation tools
(PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
* Excellent
troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving
abilities.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, with a
proactive and solution-oriented
approach.
