We’re on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join our expanding AI & Data start-up on a project in the telecom industry.
As a Data Engineer, your mission would include:
* Supporting the design, building, and maintenance of robust data pipelines to help our telecom client derive actionable insights.
* Collaborating with the team and stakeholders to ensure that data is structured and processed effectively for analytics and insights.
* Utilizing SQL and Python to process and analyze large datasets, focusing on data quality and performance.
* Working with spatial data and applying analysis techniques to gain insights into complex telecom data.
* Implementing best practices in data engineering, ensuring scalability and maintainability in the system.
* Supporting the team in data engineering tasks like troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement of data workflows.
You’re a step closer to joining our team if you bring:
Background:
* A Master’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
* 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role, preferably in a consulting environment.
Technical Skills:
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
* Knowledge of big data technologies and tools.
* Experience with Hive is a plus (but not required).
* Familiarity with spatial data analysis is a plus.
Soft Skills:
* Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
* A problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude and a hacker mentality.
* Highly curious and always eager to improve and learn.
* Strong ability to work independently and drive projects from intake to delivery.
Practical Info:
* Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.
