As a Senior Business Analyst, you play a key role in shaping and implementing future-proof business processes and the supporting IT landscape. You act as the bridge between operational teams and IT delivery, challenging assumptions, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring that digital solutions pragmatically support real-world operations.

What you'll do

* Model and redesign business processes, guiding operational teams through to-be process definition.
* Identify business needs and translate them into clear, validated requirements in the form of epics, features, user stories, or PBIs.
* Challenge stakeholders on scope, priorities, and process design to ensure efficient and realistic solutions.
* Develop business information models describing required data for interfaces, screens, reports, and integrations.
* Harmonize processes across departments and across international operational contexts.
* Align and validate requirements between business and IT teams.
* Review and validate functional analyses delivered by IT.
* Support testing and release validation, including UAT, after solution implementation.
* Actively support change management by contributing to training materials and delivering end-user training.
* Support business users during post-implementation adoption.
* Collaborate closely with business architecture to evolve and challenge the business architecture as needs change.

What are we looking for?

* You have
at least 7 years of experience
as a Business Analyst, covering business need identification, process modeling, and requirement definition.
* You hold a
Master's degree
in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.
* You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills and are comfortable challenging stakeholders constructively.
* You are well-organized, plan effectively, and remain flexible in complex environments.
* You have hands-on experience with
BPMN 2.0
and
UML class diagrams
.
* You have experience with tools such as
Enterprise Architect
,
Jira
, and
Azure DevOps
.
* Experience in energy, utilities, or asset-intensive industrial environments is a strong plus.
* Experience with industrial asset maintenance or enterprise asset management tools is an asset.
* For asset-management-focused initiatives, basic familiarity with
IBM Maximo
is a plus.
* Strong experience in
team coordination
is considered an advantage.
* You are fluent in
English
and have a
very strong command of either Dutch or French
, with solid understanding of the second national language.

* Duration: Long-term assignment
* Contract: Freelance or Permanent
