Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead large IT infrastructure and transformation projects (migration to a shared service concept) from initiation (planning & due diligence) to delivery and after-care.
* Ensure structured project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
* Identify, assess, and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
* Coordinate multi-team & multi-supplier environments, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
* Motivate and unify diverse teams across geographies, including offshore/onshore delivery models.
* Act as a constructive challenger, suggesting improvements based on experience and observed inefficiencies.
* Uphold compliance with infrastructure standards, governance frameworks and documentation requirements.
Essential Skills and Expertise
:
Project & Technical Expertise
* 7–10+ years of senior project management experience, preferably in large IT infrastructure or transformation projects.
* Proven experience coordinating multi-supplier landscapes and fostering collaboration.
* Solid infrastructure background with understanding of technical constraints, dependencies, and architectural guidelines.
Core Coordination & Communication Skills
* Balanced communication style: diplomatic yet assertive ("gentle but pushing").
* Strong reporting capabilities with clear, structured, and timely updates.
* Proactive risk communication and early warning on issues or dependencies.
* Ability to motivate and unify diverse teams toward common objectives across different organizations.
* Constructive challenger with the ability to propose improvements based on prior experience or identified gaps.
Great if you bring this too:
* Experience working with India-based teams, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and offshore/onshore models.
* Experience onboarding infrastructure standards into affiliates or regional entities in a global corporate context.
* Familiarity with governance models for infrastructure rollout, including documentation, validation, and compliance steps.
* Certifications in common project management frameworks (like PMP, Prince2, CAPM, PgMP).

* Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equal by (relevant) experience.
