Your Mission
As Head of Procurement, you will be the strategic architect of UBS’s global purchasing framework. You will define, implement, and continuously evolve our procurement strategy to ensure excellence in cost management, risk mitigation, and value creation.
You will lead a high-performing, multinational team and collaborate closely with our main shareholder’s procurement department, aligning strategies for maximum impact. Your influence will be felt across the organization, from breeding and supply chain to finance, marketing, and operations.
This is a role for a visionary leader who can translate strategic goals into measurable results—building enduring supplier partnerships, embedding innovation, and driving performance across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle.
Key Impact Areas
* Shape and execute procurement strategies fully aligned with UBS’s long-term business ambitions.
* Lead cross-functional initiatives to unlock savings, enhance supplier-driven innovation, and mitigate risks.
* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
* Drive the digital transformation of procurement processes, leveraging data analytics, dashboards, and automation.
* Inspire and develop a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and internal governance standards.
* Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
* 7+ years in procurement/supply chain roles within an international, multicultural context, including leadership responsibility.
* Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution capability.
* Strong analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
* Proven experience in supplier negotiations, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
