What you do
Operational excellence
1. Translate plant objectives into clear daily priorities
2. Improve OEE & output through structured analysis of downtime and recurring stops
3. Drive efficiency and cost awareness (including cost per pick)
4. Strengthen performance follow-up via KPIs and visual management
Team coaching & leadership
5. Direct leadership of the day shift (10 FTE’s), including maintenance, cleaning and warehouse functions
6. Coach shiftleaders in ownership, structure and problem solving
7. Support operator development and training
8. Create clarity in roles, expectations and accountability
9. Build a performance culture based on facts and follow-up
Process & structure improvement
10. Improve production planning flow in collaboration with supply chain team
11. Strengthen coordination between production, maintenance and quality
12. Standardise working methods and reduce variability
13. Implement lean tools and continuous improvement initiatives
14. Turn operational data into structured improvement actions
Cross-functional collaboration
15. Work closely with Quality on root cause analysis
16. Align with maintenance on preventive actions
17. Contribute to improving inbound/outbound production processes
This role offers broad exposure to operational management and plant-level performance topics. You will gradually take ownership of larger performance domains and strategic improvement initiatives.
Who you are
18. You are a structured operations professional with strong coaching skills and clear growth potential.
19. You hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Sciences or an equivalent field.
20. You bring 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with textile experience as an added advantage.
21. You have proven experience in leading teams within a production setting.
22. You demonstrate a strong analytical mindset with a natural affinity for KPIs and cost structures.
23. You work in a hands-on, structured and decisive manner.
24. You communicate fluently in French, have a strong professional command of English, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
25. You combine operational realism with the ability to elevate both people and processes.
26. You focus on improving systems rather than merely solving symptoms.
