D365 Finance Functional Consultant (Architect & Senior) – Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AX Location: West Flanders / East Flanders Belgium (hybrid/on-site depending on project phase) Contract Type: Freelance Start Date: ASAP ________________________________________ Overview We are currently seeking experienced Finance Functional Consultants to support a large-scale ERP transformation programme within a complex international environment. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or Dynamics AX, specifically within finance modules. We are hiring for two profiles: Finance Functional Architect (5 years’ experience) Senior Finance Functional Consultant (3 years’ experience) Please note: this is a purely functional role — technical/development profiles will not be considered. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities For Both Roles: Lead and support the design and implementation of finance processes within D365 F&O / AX Gather and analyse business requirements from finance stakeholders Translate business needs into functional specifications and solutions Configure and optimise finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, etc.) Support data migration, UAT, and go-live activities Collaborate closely with business teams, IT, and external partners Ensure best practices and standardisation across finance processes Additional Responsibilities (Architect): Define the overall finance solution architecture Act as the key advisor to senior stakeholders on finance transformation Drive solution design decisions and ensure alignment with business strategy Lead workshops and steer complex functional streams Mentor and guide senior/junior consultants ________________________________________ Requirements Finance Functional Architect 5 years of experience with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O, with deep finance expertise Proven experience in end-to-end ERP implementations Strong understanding of finance processes (accounting, controlling, reporting) Experience in solution design and architecture Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels Senior Finance Functional Consultant 3 years of experience with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O (finance modules) Strong functional knowledge of core finance processes Experience in implementations or major enhancements Ability to work independently and engage with business users Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ________________________________________ Details - Location: East/West Flanders, Belgium - Duration: 12 months - Start date: ASAP If you wish to be considered for the position available, please e-mail an up to date CV with a contact number to: Charles.weston@vividresourcing.com or call on 32 (0)3 318 82 30.
