At iPify, as a dynamic and rapidly growing startup, we are on the lookout for a motivated accounting assistant to be a part of our journey. As member of the accounting team, you will be an important support to controllership on day-to-day activities and during closing processes. Your work will embrace both incoming flows, from our services providers, and outgoing flows to our clients, financials, and public institutions.

Operating globally, we encounter unique challenges related to IP data, offering an ocean of opportunities. Your expertise will aid us in developing a collaborative B2B ecosystem to support patent and trademark legal professionals with their business management, legal workflows, and financial processes.
Your mission
* Perform the PI vs PO control, process and Interact with the internal Operations team to resolve any queries or discrepancies. Engage in external communication with service providers regarding document conformity or service billing.
* Perform third party account reconciliations and manage vendor payment process.
* Oversee aging balance reminder and cash collection.
* Generate and maintain control dashboards and reporting packages that highlight key control failures (e.g., PI/PO mismatch rates, top discrepancies, aged items). Provide insightful analysis to management on control breakdowns and financial trends.
* Participate in and/or lead ad-hoc improvement projects aimed at resolving structural issues identified through control analysis and reporting (e.g., optimizing the PO creation process, improving vendor data quality).
* Contribute to month end and year end closing processes (VAT, Reporting, Statutory and Tax) Support the timely and accurate execution of month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and contributing to statutory reporting and tax calculations.

Qualifications
Essential:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting/controlling
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Process oriented mindset with continuous improvement skills
Good level of spoken and written English
Good knowledge in Excel
Desirable:
French GAAP Knowledge
Bachelor or Master degree (or local equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
Previous experience in IP or service provider company
Experience with use of reporting tools
