We are constantly exploring new opportunities where data assets and emerging technologies in AI and data science can make a significant difference. To accomplish this, we are seeking a data officer who can shape the use cases, capture the user’s needs and create intuitive solutions that deliver results. With internal clients as the main stakeholder, you will work closely with data architects, data engineers, BI developers, data scientists and IT business partners.
The domains where data change requests and improvements are needed are broad: HR, Finance, Procurement and Logistics, QHSE, Asset Management or general Operations and can depend on past experiences and preferences. Besides the data officer role, you will be supporting the data science team.
Responsibilities and qualifications for various roles at DEME include:
* Category Buyer: work on a tactical level in procurement of services and goods, manage a portfolio of categories, contracts, sourcings and suppliers, and build up extensive market knowledge.
* Reliability Engineer: lead the proactive enhancement of our asset reliability, develop, implement and oversee maintenance strategies, and identify priorities and areas for improvement to boost asset availability and performance.
* Project Manager Fleet Interventions: responsible for the end-to-end execution of the scope of work for a vessel intervention period, ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to stringent quality and safety standards.
* Technical Works Manager: optimize fleet intervention projects, ensure that schedules align with production priorities and are executed seamlessly, and possess strong planning and leadership skills.
* Group Controller – Consolidation & Reporting: contribute to both statutory consolidation and management reporting, help shape how financial insights are visualized and communicated to our leadership and stakeholders, and continuously improve systems and procedures.
* Party Chief: responsible for all survey activities on board, lead the team of surveyors, and be involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide.
* IoT Engineer: support and grow our data logging infrastructure, troubleshoot network issues, and help implement cybersecurity best practices across our industrial systems.
