About the Role
As a teaching professional in the International Digital Experience Design program, you will guide students in building the technical backbone of digital products. This involves designing, developing, and testing APIs that connect digital interfaces with data sources.
Responsibilities
- Teach Back-end API Development: Focus on designing, developing, and testing APIs that connect digital interfaces with data sources.
- Coach students in Digital Product 4: Provide technical support for the development component during this semester team project.
- Teach Development 5: Explore experimental technologies with room for AI, generative tools, and innovation with students.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information management and multimedia, multimedia and creative technologies, applied computer science, software development, digital media, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Hands-on experience in back-end development and building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Node.js, Express, databases, and version control.
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly and accessibly to students with diverse backgrounds.
- Coaching mindset and experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent English language skills and comfort in an international classroom setting.
