Context : Our client, operating in retail banking, is undergoing one of its most ambitious transformations: a Core Banking Replacement Program (CBR).
This multi-phase initiative is reshaping the bank's central systems that handle accounts, transactions, and products. As the program advances into Phases 3 & 4, they are seeking a Release Manager to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality delivery of critical releases.
The Role
The Release Manager will act as the link between business, IT, and program leadership, ensuring that all releases are well-coordinated, obstacles are resolved quickly, and governance is respected. This is a senior role for someone who thrives in large-scale transformation programs.
✨ Key Responsibilities
Coordinate between business & IT to align priorities and delivery.
Proactively remove obstacles and manage cross-team dependencies.
Track and follow up on issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide reporting & governance updates to program leadership.
Support team members and represent them to management.
Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, epic tracking, reviews).
Skills & Experience
✔️ 10-15 years of experience in large-scale IT transformation programs.
✔️ Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
✔️ Certification in PMI or Prince2 (advantageous).
✔️ English and preferred French.
✔️ Proven background in Core Banking or Banking IT programs.
✔️ Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams (developers, testers, analysts, architects).
