We now wish to recruit an Intermediate Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee and manage numerous projects.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.
Responsibilities
On a day to day basis you will be involved in the following activities:
1. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients.
2. Effectively communicating with both internal & external stakeholders.
3. Establishing project objectives in line with our clients and ensure goals & timelines are achieved.
4. Executing projects via the PM Group Quality and Management systems.
5. Responsibility for projects technical and commercial delivery.
6. Developing & implementing appropriate project execution strategy.
7. Establishing project resource requirements and leading\motivating the project team.
8. Ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
9. Developing & maintaining project budgets.
10. Managing development of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals.
11. Providing performance updates/reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.
12. Liaising with Senior management with regular project performance status.
Qualifications
You will have the following:
13. Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
14. A minimum of 3 – 6 years’ experience in the Project Management of medium to large capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning
15. An excellent record in Health & Safety
16. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding\experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle
17. An advanced qualification in Project Management (ideally)
