As a Commis at Pastry Kitchen, you will play a key role in supporting the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a wide range of high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Responsibilities
Assisting the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts
Ensuring that all ingredients are properly portioned, prepared, and stored in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
Maintaining a clean and organised work station, including regular cleaning and sanitising of equipment and work surfaces
Providing support to other members of the kitchen team as required
Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and food handling regulations
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of food safety standard
Good communication and teamwork skills
A passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, cakes, and desserts
