About the Role
We are seeking an
In Vitro Safety Scientist
to join a Non-Clinical Safety Evaluation team. This role focuses on hands-on laboratory work supporting in vitro safety assessments for small molecules and other innovative modalities. You will collaborate closely with senior scientists and pathology experts to deliver high-quality experimental data.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform cell culture and cell-based assays (e.g., cytotoxicity).
* Conduct histology workflows: tissue embedding, sectioning, staining, and slide quality control.
* Operate automated lab equipment (e.g., scanners, Ventana systems).
* Execute experiments end-to-end: planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
* Support experimental design in collaboration with senior scientists.
* Rotate across lab workflows (cell culture, histology, etc.) for diverse exposure.
Techniques & Tools
* Required:
Cell culture
* Required:
Histology (embedding, cutting, staining)
* Nice to Have:
qPCR, immunology exposure
Profile
* Master's degree in life sciences or related field.
* 2–5 years of hands-on lab experience (pharma/biotech preferred).
* Strong skills in cell culture and histology.
* English proficiency (minimum B1).
* Autonomous, flexible, and collaborative mindset.
* Passion for routine lab work and continuous learning.
