The role
This role is primarily a field based role with 60% time allocation for field activities across the Benelux region. The Field Medical Advisor will build a key external expert network through a continuum of impactful scientific interactions on thrombosis and oncology topics across the Benelux markets and will also support training initiatives, LMR processes and congress preparations.
Your responsibilities
* Scientific presentations at customer locations or key accounts as requested
* Continuous development and preparation of material for use and discussion with external stakeholders
* Act as a medical point of contact for customer queries arising from new accounts to support the wider business strategy
* Remains up to date with scientific trends and knowledge and fosters relationships with target opinion leaders.
* Use of Veeva CRM to document and plan all customer visits
* Leverage field insights and communicate to Global Medical Critical Care or local business units as appropriate
* Identification of investigator initiated studies or other scientific opportunities within the Benelux
* Develop the Medical Strategy Plan for the Benelux
* Provide medical information at national and international congress booths where appropriate
* Active participation and knowledge sharing within the LEO Pharma Medical teams (e.g MSL Community, iM3 meetings)
* Reviews promotional and non promotional materials for accuracy and completeness of medical information as part of LMR review.
* Provides medical expertise, training and guidance to sales and marketing teams (e.g. development of knowledge assessments, presentations at cycle meetings etc)
Your profile
* Professional competencies: Minimum graduate level qualification in life sciences
* Business insights: Solid knowledge of all applicable national laws and regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, policies and procedures.
