Job description YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL As a Business Auditor at the audit team of Inspection Générale (IG) Hub Brussels, Factor, you provide audit insights that drive business success. You will evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes and recommend optimization solutions. AND IN DETAIL You join a dynamic team of business audit experts. You will be assessing, relying in an increasing way on modern digital tools, processes, risks and internal controls, executing audits per BNP Paribas IG standards. Our audit department works for BNP Paribas Fortis but also for other BNP Paribas entities in Belgium, The Netherlands and the Nordic countries. Therefore, you will work on a large variety of assignments. You will be crafting impactful audit findings and recommendations to boost business success. You deliver top-notch assurance to senior management on internal control quality. You team up on exciting projects to help shape the future of the IG function. As part of the IG Hub, you will have extensive networking opportunities, connecting with diverse teams and individuals, fostering new career pathways across various functions within the bank. Depending on your abilities and motivation, you can advance to the position of Head of Assignment, Audit Manager or Expert. Profile YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES You proactively and enthusiastically contribute as a team player with a professional, result-driven, and client-oriented approach. You are able to combine in-depth analytical and synthesis skills, while maintaining an independent mindset. You are an effective communicator and demonstrate an excellent knowledge of English and a good knowledge of French and Dutch - oral and written. You are eager to learn. We offer advanced and continuous training, and the possibility of external audit expertise courses. You have a Master’s degree and 3 to 5 years external or internal audit experience. A strong finance and accounting background and/or expertise in auditing digitalized processes are valuable assets. You aim to achieve a professional certification (a.o. Certified Internal Auditor) within 2 years, setting yourself up for success!
