Would you like to work for a cutting edge space and satellite manufacturer working on the development of highly software for use in avionics and communications systems?
The Role
SpaceTech are currently supporting a successful, growing satellite / space industry specialist consultancy with a growing client project list as well as propriety, re-usable architectures - applicable across the industry.
This is a role where space / satellite industry experience would be desirable but definitely not essential - the key skills are the thing that will really interest the hiring team....
Key tasks:
Software development for embedded devices in the field of satellite communication
Design and implementation of embedded software, networking device software, network management software and system software in an agile project team environment
Key skills
Experience in designing software for embedded network devices
Expert level C/C++ language skills
Experience of safety-critical software environments - space / satellite, aerospace, medical, automotive
Know-how in communication protocol design preferred
Aspirations and or experience towards team leadership
Nice to have:
Rust / Python
Open to / experience in agile working - Jira / Git / CI/CD would be a plus
Interest in the space / satellite industry
