Task description:
The opportunity to work on challenging projects and play a key role in the functional and technical evolution of our software solutions. Within this mission, you will join the I-ICT.215 Traffic Customer Solutions office and work on projects aimed at promoting rail traffic in the ports.
In these projects, we share information on rail traffic management with our various partners, both internal and external. As a Senior Business Analyst, you are responsible for analyzing the needs of all stakeholders and translating them into functional and technical specifications for our applications. You will collaborate closely with the IT team, partners at the Port of Antwerp, and other operational units.
Main tasks:
1. Needs analysis:
Identify and document business needs and requirements using various methods.
2. Process optimization:
Analyze existing processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
3. Functional specifications:
Develop detailed functional specifications and requirements.
4. Collaboration with development team:
Work closely with developers to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
5. Testing and validation:
Develop test cases and scenarios, perform tests to verify that applications function correctly and meet requirements.
Possible assets:
* Demonstrable experience in impact analysis based on business needs.
* Demonstrable experience in writing functional and technical documents (work instructions, user guides).
* Basic knowledge in development (OO, .NET, desktop & web design) to consult and discuss with technical profiles.

* Since this is a project in partnership with the Port of Antwerp, regular travel to Antwerp is required.
Technical Skills
* Demonstrable experience in business and functional analysis in ICT projects using Agile/Scrum methodology (Level 4: at least 10 years).
* Demonstrable experience in design and modeling techniques (UPM, BPMN) (Level 3: at least 5 years).
* Experience in gathering business requirements using various methods (Level 4: at least 10 years).
* Experience in developing user stories based on analysis and specifications (Level 4: at least 10 years).
* Language requirements:
* French or Dutch (C2: highly complex mastery).
* The other language (B2: upper intermediate).
* English (B2: upper intermediate).
