We are seeking a motivated System Functional Safety Engineer to join our projects in the field of automotive.
Responsibilities
* Planning and coordinating of the functional safety activities in the product development phases.
* Functional safety process tailoring.
* Perform preliminary hazard analysis, FMEA, fault tree analysis.
* Defines the functional/technical safety Concepts
* Define safety mechanism, at the system, software and hardware level, necessary to achieve functional safety as defined by the applicable safety standard(s).
Qualifications
* University Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
* At least three years experience in functional safety position.
* Knowledge of ISO 262626 standards or any other functional safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50129, EN 50159, and EN 50128)
* Excellent knowledge of safety methods (HAZOP, HARA, FMEA and FTA)
* Good analytical & synthesis skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, team-work spirit and independent working capability
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Fluent in English, knowledge of French/Dutch is a strong plus.
* Analytic thinker & problem solver.
