Overview Contract Data Architect – Join an Innovative Client ProjectWe are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a client on a contract basis. In this role, you will lead the design and planning of the client's complete data architecture, developing scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions that align with their business objectives.You will play a key role in defining data models, data flows, and storage infrastructure, ensuring accessibility, integrity, and security, while building end-to-end solutions from scratch. This is a highly collaborative role, working with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders.Responsibilities Develop and implement an organizational data strategy in line with business processes.Support project proposals with technical expertise.Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and governance practices.Evaluate and recommend data technologies throughout project lifecycles.Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to teams on data architecture and governance.Create and maintain processes to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.Qualifications Proven expertise in data architecture principles and best practices.Experience designing and implementing data models, database schemas, and end-to-end data solutions.Strong knowledge of data integration tools and techniques (ETL/ELT).Familiarity with data governance, security, and privacy requirements.Experience with data storage and processing technologies (data warehouses, data lakes).Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or similar).Flexible and able to adapt to different teams, projects, and client environments.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.Motivated by international projects; open to occasional travel if required.Willing to engage across teams, sharing expertise and best practices.Location: fully remote service, but must be located within Europe to meet end project SLA requirements.Contract Type: 6 months, extendable.Start Date: ASAPThis is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data projects for a forward-thinking client while leveraging your expertise as a contractor.
