The Project Manager will be part of the ERP global project leadership team and work closely with Business Process Owners, Business Analysts, development team and IT Management to ensure the project progresses along agreed timelines and meets the key success criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility to successfully deploy JD Edwards to all sites in Europe
o Prepare the detailed project plan for the rollout of JD Edwards to all European sites.
o Integrate the European plan with the global program
o Manage the European project team of Business Analysts, Business Process Owners, external partners and Development resources
o Manage the execution of all rollout activities including global model gap analysis, localization, data preparation, training and cutover for all sites
o Manage the conversion of European data from source systems to JD Edwards
o Manage the integration of European specific source systems to JD Edwards
o Manage and provide direction to the System Integrator and other partners for the rollout in Europe
* People care and leadership for a team of up to 10 Business Analysts and developers
* Leadership and management for a team of third party consultants and technical staff
* Report regularly on the status of the ERP solution and its readiness for European deployment to the Global Steering Committee
* Represent Europe on the Global Forums - change control meetings, global governance meetings, global production approval boards, global risk and issue reviews.
* Coordinate with the Global Application Managed Services team to ensure effective support and transition from rollout to support.
* Project Management certification, preferably PMI PMP.
* Minimum 5 years' experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software-preferably Oracle JD Edwards. Any experience on another system could be interesting to consider.
* Experienced on complex international projects
* Experienced with SDLC methodology running projects from Requirement Gathering, Design, Testing, Documentation Training through Implementation and Post Live Support.
* University degree is required
* Knowledge of and/or experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) is an advantage
