An innovative cybersecurity company based in Leuven, developing secure embedded systems that protect connected devices and critical infrastructure. Their technology operates at the lowest layers of hardware and firmware, ensuring products are secure by design from boot-up to runtime.
As they continue to grow, they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their core engineering team.
You will work on low-level embedded software forming the foundation of secure systems. This includes firmware, boot processes, kernel-level development, and driver implementation for security-focused hardware platforms.
This role is open to strong graduates through to engineers with up to 5 years of experience.
Work with Embedded Linux (kernel, bootloaders, BSPs)
Contribute to boot process development and secure boot implementations
Develop software for real-time embedded environments
Debug hardware-software interactions at board level
Collaborate with hardware and security teams to ensure robust system architecture
Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
Experience with Embedded Linux environments
Exposure to Linux kernel development or device driver development
U-Boot) and system bring-up
Experience with secure boot, cryptography libraries, or hardware security modules
Work on cybersecurity at the firmware and hardware level
High technical ownership and real engineering depth
