Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Medior Mechanical Engineer to join its team.
As a Mechanical Project Engineer at Vulcain Engineering Belgium, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and technical follow-up of equipment and industrial installations in energy, nuclear, or general industry. You will be involved in all phases of a project, with responsibilities growing according to your skills and interests.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
* Conduct mechanical studies: design, sizing, material selection
* Prepare technical drawings and schematics (piping, HVAC, structures, equipment)
* Perform stress and mechanical strength calculations
* Support technical follow-up in workshop and on-site (fabrication, assembly, testing)
* Collaborate with other disciplines (electrical, process, civil)
* Begin taking responsibility for specific packages or sub-projects under supervision
ABOUT YOU:
* Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering
* 3 to 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with proven experience in industrial projects or design offices
* Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory
* Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDMS, or equivalent
* Analytical mindset, rigor, growing autonomy, and team spirit
* Willingness to work from project sites
