Job Title: Business Analyst – Data Migration (Logistics)

Location: Brussels, Brussels Region, Belgium
Overview: Our client, a leading logistics company, is embarking on a greenfield Data initiative and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and capturing business requirements, improving stakeholder collaboration, and supporting the delivery of a scalable and future-proof data platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
* Support the Data program by helping business teams articulate and prioritise their data and reporting needs.
* Facilitate workshops and interviews to extract and translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
* Work closely with data engineers, architects, and analysts to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and aligned with the overall data strategy.
* Contribute to improving stakeholder maturity by training and coaching business users on effective requirement gathering and communication practices.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) and ensure deliverables meet the agreed acceptance criteria.
* Ensure alignment between the data warehouse roadmap and business priorities.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven projects (preferably in Data or BI environments).
* Solid understanding and practical experience working in Agile methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to work with technical stakeholders (data engineers, architects, developers) to clarify and translate business needs.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to train and coach business teams on requirement elicitation.
* Fluent in French (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plus.
Prior experience working with data teams is essential.

* The client’s data maturity level is evolving; this role requires a proactive and pragmatic individual capable of guiding both business and technical teams toward a shared understanding of data requirements.
* On-site requirement: 2 days per week in Brussels; remote for the remainder.
