Role Description
Within the English-taught programme International Digital Experience Design (iXD), you guide students in building the technical backbone of digital products.
Your responsibilities include:
* Teaching Back-end API Development, focusing on designing, developing and testing APIs that connect digital interfaces with data sources.
* Coaching students in Digital Product 4, the fourth-semester team project, where you provide technical support for the development component.
* Teaching Development 5, where students explore experimental technologies with room for AI, generative tools, and innovation.
* Actively contributing to the programme’s start week and two themed weeks, collaborating on inspiring challenges and group assignments.
You help students strengthen their technical skills while connecting them to user experience, creativity, and collaboration.
Qualifications
* You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information management and multimedia, multimedia and creative technologies, applied computer science, software development, digital media, or a related field — or you have equivalent professional experience.
* You have hands-on experience in back-end development and building RESTful APIs.
* You’re familiar with technologies such as Node.js, Express, databases, and version control.
* You know how to explain technical topics clearly and accessibly to students with diverse backgrounds.
* You have a coaching mindset and enjoy working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* You speak fluent English and feel at ease in an international classroom setting.
