Amazon is looking for a smart, ambitious individual to join our EU Public Policy team as intern based in Brussels. Key job responsibilities
•Providing support to our Public Policy team in the monitoring, research and analysis of a broad range of policy issues across the EU.
•Assisting with scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policymakers and other relevant stakeholders.
•Supporting the Public Policy team in working with Amazon's business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.
•Assisting in the organization of public policy events.
•Organizing and coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond it.

About the team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or Law or related fields
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
- Previous experience or know-how from government affairs, EU institutions, politics or tech policy in fast-paced environment is preferable.
