Financial Controller
to oversee and strengthen our financial operations in West Flanders. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes Provide accurate and timely financial insights to support management decisions Ensure compliance with Belgian GAAP and all applicable financial regulations Maintain and improve internal controls, financial systems, and processes Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and advisors Supervise and develop members of the finance team
Qualifications and Experience Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in finance or controlling Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting standards and regulatory requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
