Technical Facilities Engineer

Your mission:
You will be operationally responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all technical infrastructure equipment in the core sites (Datacenter, PoP, Head End). Also responsible for improving operational processes related to technical infrastructure to operate safely and ensure the availability and high performance of the technical infrastructure.
Areas of activity: operational management of technical infrastructure (power generators, main distribution boards, UPS, HVAC, 48V, access control, cameras, fire detection and suppression systems, monitoring).
Main responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the various preventive and corrective maintenance contracts for technical infrastructure equipment; organize/verify preventive maintenance schedules and ensure their follow-up.
* Manage incidents and monitors corrective maintenance, taking the necessary corrective actions to achieve the desired results and quality standards.
* Search and implement opportunities for improvement or innovative solutions likely to increase the reliability, sustainability, and performance (including environmental and energy performance) of the sites.
* Ensure quality and safety: define and communicate safety rules, monitor the processes and best practices for both internal and external personnel, including managing regulatory and administrative controls.
* Participate in the management of projects related to the Technical Environment of Core Site buildings during renovations or extensions (drafting specifications, consulting, selecting and managing subcontractors and suppliers, managing schedules, managing construction sites, and drafting and implementing validation protocols).
* Contribute to cross-functional or departmental projects according to the assigned role. Interact, collaborate, and provide positive support to initiatives.
* Establish and manage project budgets (including bid analysis, purchase order creation, and invoice receipt).
Your profile:
* Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in a similar sector and/or critical infrastructure management
* Theoretical and practical knowledge of industrial electricity
* Theoretical knowledge of HVAC
* Knowledge of UPS, 48V and generator technologies
* Knowledge of cabling technologies related to multimedia and data transmission would be an asset
* Autonomy, adaptability, stress resistance
* Clear and easy communication
* Fluent French, conversational English. Dutch would be a plus
