Your Mission
Digital transformation is changing our customers’ and employees’ expectations of their digital interactions. The mission is to design innovative end‑to‑end digital experiences for employees and/or customers that enable actionable data insights. The digital experience architect works in partnership with Business and ICT teams and brings a mix of functional and technical skills.
What you will do
The Digital Architect is a change agent: able to “walk a mile in the user’s/customer’s shoes” and help drive organizational change. She/he understands the user journey and ensures alignment of future digital solutions with strategic business objectives. The architect builds the IT roadmap for their domain by connecting strategy and investments to outcomes.
As an innovator, she/he creates transformative approaches with digital technologies, organizes and participates in POCs following the approved innovation funnel, and applies agile principles to adapt to evolving needs.
As a facilitator, the architect brings people together across teams to forge consensus and promote a culture of collaboration around digital solutions.
The architect maps the ICT solution portfolio, aligns with other architects on cross‑domain integration, and redesigns processes for automation, efficiency, business value, data insights, risk management and cost optimisation. The role evolves decisions on replacing, upgrading, or introducing new technology (e.g., Agentic AI).
During implementation, the architect guides project teams, provides input to project managers, and may act as project manager for pilot or complex projects. Post‑implementation, the architect aligns with Support and Service to contribute to governance and collaborates with Business Intelligence, Data Science, Infrastructure, and Integration teams. The architect also supplies budget inputs for CAPEX and OPEX and may serve as budget owner for specific initiatives.
Position Requirements
* Experience in product lifecycle management in the process industries
o Recipe based production
o Traceability / Regulatory / Product Safety
* Systems Integration Experience (e.g., API)
* Experience in any of the following is a plus
o SAP S/4HANA (or other ERP)
o SAP PLM – SAP QM
o LIMS
o Automation (RPA and/or Agentic AI)
o Low code (Outsystems)
o BI (PowerBI)
* Vision / Strategy / Innovation mindset
* Change Management
* Functional skills within the domain of responsibility
* Communication & Collaboration skills
* Project Management / Agile / Scrum / Kanban
* Analytical skills (detail and high‑level view)
* Application development experience is a plus
* Open mindset with emphasis on knowledge sharing
* Ability to work independently as part of a team
* Flexible and stress‑resistant
* Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset
